Hockey fans take note!!!. The Goderich Mayor, Deb Shewfelt has just challenged Mayor Larry Kraemer andthe entire town of Kincardine! They plan on getting more votes than us!Canadian Tour in Kincardine!Go to hendersonjerseytour.com to cast your vote! Act now the deadlineis Nov 28 to cast your vote!

This all came about because of the following article:Help bring jersey to KincardineBy Josh HowaldPaul Henderson was born in Kincardine. We want to bring him back. The Kincardine Independent, along with myFM Kincardine, are urging you tovote to make Kincardine the jump-off point for the cross-county tour of the

Smart Centre Canada is hosting a contest to see where the tour should kick
off, and whoever casts the winning ballot will also get to hang out with
Henderson and be the first to see the jersey.
The jersey was purchased in an auction by Smart Centre owner Mitchell
Goldhar for a reported $1.2 million last year.

To cast your vote for Kincardine, visit hendersonjerseytour.com, or on
facebook at facebook/hendersonjerseyhomecomingtour. Vote for Kincardine, and
be sure to include any stories about the 1972 Summit Series and why
Kincardine should be first on the list.

The winning centre will be decided by draw, not a vote, said Mills. That
said, the more votes Kincardine gets, the higher the chance of the tour
beginning here in town.

He said more than 200 votes had been cast as of Thursday afternoon.
The winning centre will be the start of the cross-Canada jersey tour. The
winner will also receive a small personal reception with Henderson and have
a chance for photos and conversation with the Canadian icon.
The voting will close on Nov. 28, and the winning centre and voter will be
announced in the weeks following the deadline.

So, make sure you vote and we will see if we can get the jersey first.
