A LOSS AND A WIN
It was a great weekend for Novice Local League #1 team. The whole team played well together and came out on top in overtime in the 2nd game against Ripley, after losing a day earlier. Our centres Max and Claire worked hard to get after that puck and forwards, Nathan, Caleb, Sammy, Emily, Kennedy and Kayleigh worked hard to keep the puck in Ripley's end, with Kayleigh pushing through and scoring two goals this weekend! Trent tried to score on a penalty shot but a save was made by the Ripley goalie. Defense Jessica, Brooklyn, Aaron Trent and Jordan did a great job keepin the puck away from Rose, who as always, saved many shots! Jordan saved the day when he scored the last goal in overtime to finally receive a well deserved win.
