The Canadian Tire Atom Reps recently lost two straight games by two goals.

On Monday, Dec. 21 that were in Southhampton to face the Saugeen Shores Storm. Coming off a previous loss to the Storm expectations were for a much better performance. The Atoms did just that with the score tied 2-2 late into the third period. Some tough calls led to a Storm power play which the Kinucks couldn't fight off.

Scoring the in the game was Tori Hodgins and Rhys Vollmer with assists going to Danny Skinner and Bradley Pickett.

On Tuesday, Dec. 22 the Kinucks faced the first place Meteors out of Mitchell.  Cara Colhoun's first goal of season was huge as it tied the game one one into the second period. With a strong forecheck from Christopher Coady and Rainor Kuz, the Atoms kept the highest scoring team in the league at bay. Skinner hit the post after an end to end rush but that was as close as the Kinucks would get to the win as Mitchell scored two unanswered goals in the third to go onto the 3-1 win.
