The fans were wild Jan 16th as Kincardine Atom LL#2 (meridian) played Ripley. The game started off with a quick goal from Ripley....
Kincardine then unleashed their full strength with a goal from Austyn M, assisted by Georgia F. Ripley kept the pressure on and took the lead again, but soon was answered with a Hat-trick from Georgia F.
Kincardine's defence Justin M, Connor D, Julia M and Liam H. kept Ripley out of Kincardine's end for most of the game and helped with penalty killing. Justin attempted several goals, but was turned back by Ripley's goaltender.
In the third, Ripley again took the lead and Kincardine's forwards Connor B, Georgia, Brady M, Sam C, Mark, Y and Josh F, Tyler D and Austyn worked tirelessly to keep pressure on the Ripley net. The fans became hopeful fo a win when Georgia passed to Josh F for Kincardine's final goal. In our net Liam M did a great job saving numerous shots.
Kincardine's teamwork and cooperation shined in this game. In the end Ripley earned the 7-5 win. Despite the outcome everyone played awesome. Great effort by all!!
