The second playoff game against Goderich took place January 19th in Kincardine, the first period saw Goderich put one in against Kincardine.  In the second period Kincardine started to fight back with Ethan Skinner playing with a cast on his arm putting one up and in.  Ethan Primeau had a nice glove save on Goderich’s power play but Goderich got one by him again making it 2-1 for them.  Garret McFadden passed the puck on to Skinner tying it up 2-2 and then Shane Vollmer assisted Scott McFarlan on Kincardines’ power play opportunity making it 3-2.  The third period brought more penalties for Kincardine and another goal for Shane Vollmer making the final 4-2 for Kincardine.  This put Kincardine up 2-0 in the playoffs.

After returning from a big win in Port Huron the boys wanted to put Goderich out of the series.  Game three took place January 31st at home again.  Although the boys outplayed Goderich in the first period the score remained 0-0.  Goderich came back hard in the second but the score remained 0-0.  In the third period Kincardine finally got one in Scott McFarlan assisted by Ethan Long and Marshall Smith making it 1-0.  Both teams got penalties at the end of the 3rd for too many men on the ice and even though Goderich pulled their goalie they were unable to tie it up giving Primeau the shut out and the Kinucks the series.
