SHUT OUT FOR SOPHIE TOMAINI
Saturday January 16th/10 in a freezing cold Tiverton arena the
Kincardine Pee Wee LL girls beat the Durham girls.First period which
provided back and forth performance by both teams but neither one were
able to get one past the great goal tending at either end.
Then 6 minutes later Makayla Macgregor made her pass to Jorie Elliott which soared through the goalie once again making it a 2-0 game.
Going into the third Kincardine girls worked real hard to get a third goal and try to give Sophia her shut out with some great defensive play by all.
With 58 seconds left in the game and everybody thinking the game was over.
Makayla Macgregor made a pass to Elsie Shewfelt which made another pass to Eden McFarlene who shot and made an empty net goal to seal the win and give Sophie Tomani another shut out which she surely deserved
