Kincardine Timbr-Mart Bantam Reps Cap off Winning Regular Season

This past weekend, the Kincardine Bantam Reps completed their regular season schedule unbeaten in 21 games.
On Friday, January the 6th the Kincardine Bantam Reps hosted the Mount Forest Bantam team for an 8:00 pm start. During a fast-skating and physical first period, Kincardine got on the scoreboard with a goal from Jordan Bell assisted by Chase Ambeau. More goals followed in the second from Scott McFarlane (Logan Shewfelt, Sam Culmer) and Derrick Bernath (Austin Rees) who scored with a blistering shot from the top of the circle. In the third period, Geordie Farrell added to the Kincardine score with a goal off the face-off from Brody Hayes. With four minutes to go, Rees made it 5-0 assisted by Bernath and Marshall Smith for the final score. The Kinucks outshot Mount Forest 20-12. Great job boys with points from all three lines!
The next night, the boys journeyed to Port Elgin to take on the Saugeen Shores Storm. After a scoreless first period, Jordan Bell again opened up the scoring in the second with a goal assisted by Brody Hayes. Bernath followed this up with a nice wrist shot from the high slot. In the third, Bell went end to end on a short-handed rush and back-handed post in to finalize the score at Kincardine 3, Saugeen Shores 0.
Due to their first place finish the boys earned a by in the first round of the playoffs. Good luck in the second round boys!
