Hawgs Breath, Meagan McDonald earns Shut Out.
On January 23, the Kincardine Midget girls hosted the Saugeen Shores Storm which earned Meagan McDonald of the Hawgs Breath a Shut Out.
It certainly wasn't for a lack of effort that the Kincardine Girls couldn't produce a goal in the 1st period . The second period broke the scoreless game putting Kincardine on top 1-0 thanks to a goal from Cayly Bellan assisted by Maddie McFadden. Mid way through the 2nd, Morgan Padfield unleashed another goal for the Hawgs Breath assisted by Courtney Surridge and Justine Buchler. The "edge of your seat" action in the third period saw a lone goal scored by Bellan that was assisted by Sam Bianco. The game ended with a score of 3-0 for our Kincardine Hawgs Breath Midget C Rep Girls.
