Kincardine Presto Crest Peewee LL Score Two
Submitted By Ed Arciszewski on Monday, January 10, 2011
Article submitted by Shea Fields.

On Jan 6th Kincardine Presto Crest Peewee LL boys played Goderich on home ice.

The first and second period were slow ones for the Kincardine boys, with the Kincardine defence working hard with Matthew Johnston and Brendan Arciszewski blocking the strong Goderich offence from entering our end. Kincardine's goalie Alex Pande was kept busy as well. By the end of the second Goderich was leading by 3 and Kincardine seemed defeated with one period to go.

Finally the third period came and Alex Fisk, Martin Catalan, Jacob Gordon and Corbyn Fields took a stand and allowed no more offensive plays for the Goderich team. Brady Masur, Cameron Cleminson and Hogan Allen seemed to get angry and chased the puck hoping for a goal and a point on the board for Kincardine. Finally J.D. Gouthro passed one off to Josh Farrell who blasted one between Goderich's posts finally putting us on the board 3-1. Then the boys seemed to get their second wind, with Ryan Burton and Brydon Nickolic pressuring the Goderich boys with fantastic passes. Sam Colquhoun had an attempt on their net, as the parents sat on the edge of their seats hoping for another goal. Goderich got another, which sparked Owen Fohkens and Austin Platt to skate with speed getting another for Kincardine. Final score was 4-2 for Goderich, but the Kincardine boys had a great come back. Great Effort by all.
