Volunteer Hours Information Guide

A team and our association is run by the many volunteers who step up to work together.  In the upcoming 2015/16 season KMHA will not be requiring a volunteer bond and the commitment of a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer work.  Instead, all the families that comprise each team will need to work together to complete all jobs.  Keep in mind that KMHA will also need volunteers to help with association wide activities and events, listed below.

Each team is made up of a coach, assistant coaches, manager, trainer, assistant trainer, and a volunteer coordinator.

In addition, various team jobs which need completion include: bottle washing, ref paying, writing articles to send to local newspapers, collecting gate fees, filling out the game sheet and running the clock during games.

There are many more opportunities to help out such as assisting at the banquet, photo night, car wash, BBQ, Silver stick, Archie McMillan and more.

A team requires commitment and the support of all its members.
