Austyn MacArthur scored early in the first when he busted down the right side and fired a blue line blast into the back of the net. With the Kinucks up 1-0, backstopping phenom Jamie Brock made save after save until Saugeen would score on consecutive breakaways.
Down 2-1 going into the third, Bryce McFadden broke free and sniped the game tying goal into the top corner. With under three minutes left in the game, Christopher Coady grinded in the corner and fed a great pass to McFadden which he buried behind the fallen Shores goalie. This would be enough to win as Brock shut the door
The defensive tandems of Brennan Long, Travis Anderson and Jake Colley played very hard as the team had only nine skaters for the game
