The Home Hardware Novice Rep Kinucks traveled to Mitchell on Tuesday to complete the first of a home and away playoff series. Mitchell scored once in each of the first two periods and led the Kincucks 2-0 going into the third.
Darian Kuz scored for Kincardine to pull the Kinuchs within one. However, Mitchell returned fired and once again led by two. Christopher Coady quickly set up Bryce McFadden and again Kincardine was with a goal. This is as close as they would get and fell to a 3-2 loss.
The Kinucks host Saugeen and Mitchell this weekend to determine who moves on into the next round of the play – offs.
