On Sat Jan 31st Kincardine Atom #1 played Hanover.
In the first period Kincardine's Atoms learned very fast that Hanover's team was not going down very easily, they were vocal, and loved to use sign language to communicate with our players. Kincardine's Andrew Leschied single handedly got the first goal of the game making it 1-0 Kincardine.
In the second period Kincardine decided they wanted to make the gap larger between Kincardine and Hanover. Owen Jones passed the puck to J.D Gouthro who scored on Hanover, making it 2-0. Rahul Deshpande, Kincardine's goalie saved tones a shots dished out from Hanover. Alex Fisk and Josh Farrell were awesome defense men, keeping Hanover away from Kincardine's goalie. Near the end of the 2nd period kincardine's Andrew Leschied Got another goal making it 3-0.
In the 3rd period Hanover Scored 4 goals, making it 4-3. Although Hanover was a tough match and not very sportsman like, they did win with the final score being 4-3. Kincardine kept their chins up, and gave Hanover a run for their money. Great job Kincardine.
