Bantam boys take on Listowel
A short Kincardine bench digs deep to take a resounding win.
Kincardine welcomed the Listowel team into the Davidson Centre with uncertainty due to a very short bench of only 9 players and 1 goalie.
The Kincardine team threw caution to the wind, and came out fighting hard. With :23 seconds left in the first Jordan Small managed to put one past the Listowel goalie assisted on a nice pass by Micah Stam.
The second period saw lots of back and forth action and finally at 6:50 of the second, Listowel finally managed to get one past a sprawling Tyler Bellefeuille, in spite of the defensive efforts of Ryan Ball.
Sam Netzke with determination in his stride answered back less than 30 seconds later with a marker of his own, assisted by David Allingham and Jordan Boyle.
A well needed rest on the intermission, and the Kincardine boys where like a whole new team.
Matt Wilkinson and Brendan McCartney had the Listowel goalie in their sights.
Boyle scored unassisted at 14:32 of the third. Tyler Dinsmore scored at 3:43 of the third assisted by Allingham. the final goal was potted by Dinsmore assisted by Cory Fair and Boyle for a final score of 5-1 for the home team.
