On Tuesday December 8th the Hawg's Breath Midget girls hosted the team from Lucknow. This regular season game ended in a 4 - 4 tie. Kincardine got the action going with an opening goal by Kaitlyn McDonell assisted by teammate Anna McFarlan. Lucknow replied late in the first to even up the score, but only momentarily as Kinuck Taylor Nashiem rushed the net and scored unassisted ending the first 2 - 1 for Kincardine.
The second period continued with constant action, aggressive play by both teams and Lucknow scoring a second goal to tie up the game 2 - 2.
After a short break both teams emerged from the change rooms ready for Act 3. Lucknow came out piping hot scoring two early goals to take a 4 - 2 lead. These two quick goals jolted the Kinucks into overdrive and off they skated on a mission to even up the score which was achieved by two second period goals the first by McDonell assisted by Cayly Bellan, followed by the dramatic final goal with only 14 seconds left on the clock by Morgan Padfield assisted by Maddie Doerr ending the game 4 - 4.
