On January 24th, the Kincardine girls drove to Mount Forest & District Arena to play the Rams. Since many of the girls are getting their driver’s license, most nights, you will see the parents in the passenger seat.
By the end of the second period, the Rams were up 3-0.
Kincardine girls came out of the dressing room determined to make a mark on the tally sheet. Early in the third period we saw Kincardine play fast and hard with Cayly Bellan scoring their first goal, assisted by Kait McDonnell making it 3-1. The next goal went to Morgan Padfield with the assist from Carly Schmidt making it 3-2 Rams. With 38 seconds left on the clock Kincardine’s McDonnell put one in the net unassisted. Hawgs Breath girls come back to tie it 3-3 for the final score. Goaltending efforts by Meagan McDonald and Kortney Watson.
