Game 1 was against Mitchell, with Mitchell starting strong in Kincardine's end.  Great goal tending by Ethan Primeau kept Mitchell off the scoreboard for the first period. The second period ended with Kincardine killing a penalty keeping the score at 0-0. At the beginning of the third Mitchell scored on Kincardine's Primeau with one second left in the power play making it a short handed goal.  Mitchell scored again on a rebound making it 2-0.  There was no energy on the ice from the Kinucks until the end of the third.  Kincardine finally got  some shots on Mitchell's goalie but the final score is 2-0.

Game 2 vs. South Huron, Kincardine starts off the game stronger than the first game of the day.  Craig Luinstra sees more shots than South Huron's goaltender by far.  Good rush by Brett Burrows, no goal but its followed up with a goal from Kurt Dunsbier helped by Burrows and Bradley Picket.  1-0 end of first.

Some great stops by Luinstra in the second keeps the goal count down.  Another great play by Dunsbier and Burrows denied as is one by Jakob Dunlop and Andrew Potter.  Goal scored on Luinstra makes it 1-1.  Another great skate by  Ethan Long but no goal.

In the third period South Huron scores again 2-1.  Nice playing by Grant Stevens but he is unable to get on the board.  Bradley Pickett's rush was also stopped and unable to get the rebound.  Stevens tries again playing with true heart.  Coach Royle pulls the goalie in the final period but  the team is unable to capitalize on it, final score 2-1.

Game 3 vs Ayr Flames is a chance for Kincardine to regain their hometown pride.  Game starts with an Ayr power play killed by team followed by Kincardine power play, no goals.  Ayr scores on breakaway on Ethan Primeau in net.  Period ends with power play opportunity for Kincardine, no goal 1-0, end of first.

Another couple of saves from Primeau keeps Ayr from scoring again.  Kincardine gets another penalty followed by a power play goal from Caleb Campbell and Grant Stevens to Ethan Long ties the game 1-1.

The third period gets rough with lots of penalties including a bench penalty as the coach of Ayr is removed from the game.    Some exciting moments in the final few minutes with shots by Long, Burrows, Stevens and Jones and  Primeau losing his stick still ended in a tie 1-1.  In this final game for the Kinucks in the tournament the fans truly appreciated the effort shown on the ice.
