Krushers 1 and 1 in Tournament
The Kincardine Krushers played hard on Saturday at the Aaran-Elderslie tournament. They came out with a win for the first game against Chatsworth with a score of 6 to 2. Goals scored by Noah Swann, Trent Pletch and Ryan Tanner, and assists to Ryan Wheeler, Jessie Anderson, MacKenzie Kuntz, Ryan Tanner, Andrew McDonald, Aiden Berkman and Trent Pletch.
Noah earning MVP for game 1. Wingers Aiden, Cayden and MacKenzie showed heart by constantly digging for the puck. The win moved them to the "A" side where they were pumped for game two but not for long, as Mount Forest "krushed" them with a score of 10 to 1. Marcelle made numerous saves in the second game and definately deserved her MVP award. Jessie and Ryan were on their toes constantly playing in the defensive zone, as well as Andrew and Kenzie. Zack was a strong force as usual for the team, but no one could get past the large Mount Forest kids! The team gathered at Crabby Joes after the drive home with Noah again coming out with a win of an Ottawa jersey when he had his winning number called. A fun day was had by kids and parents!
