KINCARDINE NOVICES ELIMINATE SAUGEEN SHORES AND NOW TAKE ON MINTO
The Home Hardware novices eliminated Saugeen Shores on Saturday afternoon in the best of 3 series. The score was 1-1 after the first period. Scoring the lone marker of the first was Cody McLelland, assisted by Jordan Moulton, and Nolan MacKinnon. The Kinucks would lead 3-1 after the second frame on goals by Wilson Shipp and Moulton (this was Jordan Moulton's 100th goal of the season). Assists went to Jordan Beisel, McLelland, and Heidi Allen. The Kinucks would add two more in the third to take the game 5-1 and win the series. Goals in the third came from McLelland, and Moulton. Setting the pair of goals up were Beisel, and MacKinnon. The goaltending tandum of Jared Petrie and Ryan Wheeler were very solid. McLelland was awarded the hardest worker with a very impressive game getting two goals and adding an assist!
