Tim-br Mart Bantams take first game against Listowel
The Tim-br Mart Bantam Kinucks took the first game of their second round OMHA play-off series against the Listowel Cyclones by an amazing 8-3 score on Sunday 12 February.

Listowel had the upper hand in five earlier meetings this season, including the Regional Silver Stick final, but on the Cyclones home ice the Kinucks showed that they mean business in the play-offs.  Things didn't look that way in the opening period when Kincardine were slow to get started and found themselves 3-0 down after ten minutes.  But in an extraordinary second period the Kinucks fired six goals including a blitz of three in 90 seconds in the final three minutes.  They did it by taking the game to Listowel, being first to the puck and putting on one of the best team performances of the season.  Two further unanswered goals in the third period sealed the convincing win.  Scott McFarlan was the first star with five goals, Cole Lamont had two and Shane Vollmer a single.

Game 2 of the series is on Saturday 18 February at 7:30pm at the Davidson Centre and Game 3 in Listowel on Sunday 19 February.
