Exciting Inter-league play gets "Green Machine" back in the Win!!

Novice HL#2 “Green Machine” vs Saugeen
Shores LL#1, Nov.13th 2011.
Two games
in two days stepped up the excitement for the KNHL#2 kids. The team was
in high spirits for the 11am opponent. Bryan Nicholson starting in goal trying
for his first win in net.
Again the team came out with a good start. Baily Peirson with solid skating opened up the scoring with a hard line to the goal and in the net it was. SS tied it up moments later. A little back and forth action was observed, with excellent play and Mack Beisel’s good hands and smooth skating helped keep the edge. With the score 4-3, Kincardine team#2 fought hard and Carson Boettinger tied it all up at 4. With mere seconds left to play and a bit of a scrum in front of the SS net minder, Mack popped in the game winning goal and a hat-trick to end the day on a high note.
Congratulations Team #2 on the win with a finale score of 5-4.
