Green Machine vs NHL Team #4 COUGARS

On a rare Thursday night game there was a buzz in the Green Machines dressing room. The kids seemed pump and raring to play. With that said, the game was on. The Green Machine looked to have an extra jump in their step.
Bailey Pierson’s play was determined and persistent, rush after rush. Bryan Nicholson was playing with confidence, a play to his left became tough to pin down, and during this scuffle the puck ended up being chipped of his back and in the net.
With the Cougars up 1-0, Mack Beisel and Roland Spencer helped by keeping the together applying steady pressure. A good pass to Mack fed by Cole Hackett-Price brought the score to a tie at one a piece. Stellar net minding at both ends kept this game tight. Gordy Reaume had some key glove saves, and Bryan at the other end with some important toe pad saves. This game was exciting exhilarating.
Both teams kept the crowd anxious. With 28 seconds to go in the Second, Mack threaded himself through a number of opponents to break through with a solid wrist shot, initially it was thought that a glove save was made, but the mustard prove to much and force the glove into the net. The hard work for Bailey paid off and he notched it the insurance goal to bring the score to 3-1 for the Green Machine. Notable players were also Aidan Berkman, Carson Boettinger, Reilly Colhoun, and Gabby Legge.
