Green Machine Edges Team Blue 4-3!!!
The Kincardine Novice Hockey League Team #2 The Green Machine.

A win Saturday will show continued success. Once again the Green Machine came ready to play, but this weekend we encountered a force to be reckoned with in Team #4.
The game got off to a quick start and it soon became evident that the Green Machine had their work cut out for them.
Team 4 had the Green Machine on their heels. At the end of the first period Team #4 had twelve shots on net. Halfway into the period Mack Beisel playing “D” pinched forward, weaved thought a half dozen or so players and picked top right corner for the first goal. Soon after the lead was established, a play behind net was sent out front unexpectedly directly on the tape of the other team and without a chance it was 1-1.
Third period was tight, score 3-2 “Greens” great skating and some good passing lined it up for the tying goal. Play was strong and the pressure could be felt in the Davidson Center . Dakota Christie-Wylds holding possession well and moving it in deep. Defence was busy and made several plays to neutralize Team #4’s attack. Bryan Nicholson got a real taste of being busy in goal and responded well, keeping his team in the game. Mack with sheer minutes to go made several rushes and was held back. A well timed line change got the match up offset and Mack threaded the needle and got the tie breaker. Roland Spencer and Mack exhibited excellent effort, coming back and helping out. Great games were had by Aidan Berkman, Carson Beottinger, Cam Fletcher.
The Game end was tense and well played. Thanks Green Machine it was great game to watch.
