The Hometown Team wins big!
Kincardine Legion Peewee Kinucks win the 26th Kincardine Regional Silver Stick “B” division championship advancing them to the North American finals Jan. 11-13, 2013, in Forest, Ontario. The Peewees won their opening game, 4-0 against Hanover, then lost to Tavistock, 3-1; the boys got back in the groove and beat West Lincoln, 12-1. With enough points to move on, this young team advanced to the semi finals, with the glint of a medal in their eyes, these fellas played a hard and fast game against their opponents, South Huron, defeating the Sabres 6-0. This provided the Kinucks with a berth in the finals , to come up against Tavistock, again! The Kinucks weren’t going to let “Tavi” put them down again. Kincardine won handily, 3-0, to take the championship! Congratulations Team!
