Bantam Boys LL2 team started with an impressive record of 8 wins and one tie in the first 10 games of the 2012-13 season, looking like they would take the WOAA by storm only to have second half of the season plagued with losses as the rest of the bantam league started to catch up.
The forward lines of Hogan Allen, Jacob Gordon and Jamie Perrault combined for exciting plays in front of the opponent’s net while the additional forward line of Tanner Walker, Braden Masur and Ryan Burton challenged bigger and stronger opponents every shift. Team scoring by Riley Charrett and Owen Fohkens was assisted by defence pairs of Rahul Despande and Corbyn Fields while goaltender Alex Pande was supported game after game by Brendan Arciszewski and Justin Moulton.
Safety for the team was provided by the Masur pair of Kim and Greg with continuous support from grandpa Gary Gossell. Equal coaching at practice and during games was provided by Mo Burton, Ed Arciszewski and Eric Fohkens. Management and funds were controlled by the constant help of Anand Despande and Shea Fields. Great job from everyone who helped out has made this season a fun enjoyable and rewarding experience. Thanks team.
