Kincardine Bantam Girls tie 2-2 against Mount Forest
Kincardine Bantam Girls LL team started their game on November 11th with high hopes and good spirits because of their great win the day before.
In the first period Mount Forest was winning 1-0 but they weren’t about to give up. Kincardine came back in the 2nd period with a strong offensive goal by Hayley Sorbara assisted by Makalya McGregor with 13 minutes left. Early in the 3rd period Mount Forest got up on them by one goal once again. The girls were feeling the heat, but knew this was not the time to throw in the towel and fought back with all the energy they had left. They ended up tying the game with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Georgia Fields broke away from the rest of the players with a pass from Danielle McBride and scored the tying goal in the top corner. After the last buzzer the score was 2-2 tie between Mount Forest and Kincardine. Great game played by all! By: Morgan Robertson
