St.Thomas Tournament
The LAkeside GM Peewee girls traveled to St.Thomas this past weekend! And did an amazing job with only 9 skaters! The Oakville Devilettes had the sweet bench size of 14 which was a disadvantage to the Lakeside Girls!With a loss of 2-0 in the first game.
The girls then played later that evening which seemed to be a better matched game but then yet again London had a larger bench.The girls skated hard and the parents cheered even louder!There spirits were high and the coaches arms were tired from lowering the girls from the high bench....
Leaving the score at 1-0!
Saturday was a different game for the Lakeside Gm Girls they were on fire despite the late night partying at the hotel! Goals scored by Kaeleigh and Ariel and Assits went to Julia,Abby,Libby and Dana! Leaving the score 5-0 and a shut-out for Cassidy!
Maybe it was the goodluck on the bench or Coach Colleens MOSTACHE..
What a fun weekend of girls hockey..
