On Saturday afternoon the Kincardine Home Hardware novice rep team took to the ice in Hanover to face the Falcons. Lots of action in both ends of the ice kept both keepers on their toes. It wasn't until late in the first period when Quinton Page scored the first goal of the game on a great pass from Dylan Chinnick. In The second it was Quinton Page striking again with an unnassisted goal. Both teams battled hard, and Kincardine came out on top 2-1.
On Monday night the team traveled through the snow to face the Minto Mad Dogs in their home rink. The Mad Dogs started out quick scoring an early goal that put the Kinucks on their toes. After that the team gave it their all. The first period saw a nice goal from Brandon Bishop from Quinton Page. In the second the Kinucks really started the scoring. It started with Quinton Page unassisted, followed by a second from Quinton Page with an assist from Nathan Arnold. Late in the second it was the Tyler Johns from Quinton Page and Dylan Chinnick. In the third period the scoring continued with Brandon Bishop netting a goal on an assist from Alex Colley. Late in the third Tyler Johns and Dylan Chinnick combined to score the Kinucks sixth of the night. The Mad dogs made a hard push at the end of the game, but great defense and excellent goal tending kept them from getting close. The Kinucks continued their streak by winning 6-3.
