Kincardine Home Hardware Novice Kinucks took to the ice on Jan 17 against the Saugeen Shores Storm. Both teams had a slow start at the beginning of the game, until Tyler Johns opened the scoring for the Kinucks with assists from Quinton Page and Dylan Chinnick.
In the second period Nathan Arnold made a rush from the defence to the net and scored a beauty over the Storm net minders shoulder, unassisted. The Storm mounted a comeback in the second scoring once. In the third period the Kinucks turned it on. Starting with an un-assisted marker by Quinton Page, followed by hard earned goal by Dylan Chinnick with assists going to Brandon Bishop and Tyler Johns. Late in the third Quinton Page scored the final goal of the game with assists by Graeden Colhoun and Dylan Chinnick. The two teams face off again on Sunday Afternoon in Port Elgin.
