Kincardine Home Hardware Novice Kinucks finish Regular season in First Place
Kincardine Home Hardware Novice Kinucks played two games this week to complete regular season action.  The first game saw Kincardine face off against Hanover on Saturday at the Davidson Center.  Hanover came out strong showing they are top contenders in the league this year as they scored in the first minute of play.

With the Kinucks on there heels they didn’t take long to get the goal back that Hanover surprised them with as Kincardine’s Quinton Page scored at 8:48 of the first period this being his first goal of 6 in this game as he completed two hat tricks. Hanover played a strong first and second period as they kept Kincardine to only 3 goals but the third period saw lots of goals into Hanover’s net as Brandon Bishop also contributed to the scoring in this period. Setting up the goals in this game went to Jorja Scott, Brandon Bishop and Graeden Colhoun picking up 3 assists of his own.  It was an action packed game that saw Kincardine changing there line ups as they played Jared Houghton and Nathan Arnold on forward and Casey Beisel as well as Quinton Page on Defense. This game ended with a win for Kincardine with a final score of 7-3.

Game two this week was Monday night in Kincardine against Walkerton which was as close as they come. The game ended 2-1 for Kincardine which also let Kincardine finish first place in their division for the regular season but Mt.Forest was a close second only one point behind the Kinucks so this was a big win for these young athletes. The goals scored for Kincardine in this match up were both scored By Quinton Page and assisted by Nolan Janes as well as Dylan Chinnick.  Both Goalies Rowan Cherrett and Kwade Beisel played half the game each and both played well to help Kincardine hang on to the win. Many changes in the line up occurred again in this game as the Kincardine coaches are looking for the perfect recipe for this team as they go into playoffs. So with the regular season coming to a close the Kinucks will anxiously wait to find out who they play in the playoffs and the first game is scheduled for this Saturday at 11:15 am in Tiverton so come out and cheer for your Kinucks and hope the post season goes as well as regular season went for this fine team.
