A busy weekend for the Beisel Contracting Midget AE team resulted in two wins.
First up was a home game against South Bruce.

Both teams started strong with end to end action throughout the opening period, with South Bruce scoring late in the first.  Kincardine gained momentum after a two man penalty kill and drew even on a Jared Allingham goal.  Owen Hunsburger notched the go ahead goal on a nice set-up from Kaleb Brough and Logan Wolfe.  Kincardine extended the lead late in the second period with Chase Meurs scoring assisted by Brendan Murchie.   Corey Howse set-up Brough for the insurance marker and goalie Lucas Jorg shut the door for the 4-1 Kincardine win.

The boys then headed to Goderich to take on the Sailors for the first time this season.  Kincardine opened the scoring with Kyle Hunter finishing on a nice passing play from Allingham and Howse.  Kincardine then got into penalty trouble, but the penalty kill played well, led by goalie Jordan Gauthier.  Goderich scored the tying goal late in the second to set-up a wild final frame.  Riley Cherrett won an offensive zone face-off back to Skylar Rutledge who fired a slap shot from the point to put Kincardine up 30 seconds into the third period.  Two quick goals by Goderich set the stage for a Kinuck come back.  Hunter jumped on a loose puck in the slot and fired the tying goal half way through the period.  Hunsburger than netted the winner from Brough and Wolfe, securing the 4-3 Kincardine victory.
