Kincardine Atom Girls HL face Saugeen Shores C in their Season Opener
The Kincardine Atom Girls HL team kicked off their season with a game in Southampton this weekend. The team had their work cut out for them, up against the Saugeen Shores C team. Our players made us proud, came out strong and gave it their all!
Goalie, Bianca Holland stood strong in net keeping Kincardine in the game with some phenomenal goaltending! The girls were down 1-0 at the end of the first period but were not about to throw in the towel fighting hard to keep it out of their end until the very last buzzer.
Final score was 3-0 for our opponents however with the positive encouragement from Jada, Dan and Kelly on the bench the girls exited that arena bonded as a team with smiles on their faces and ready to take on the new season!!
A special thank you to Makayla and Jada for stepping up to coach the team this year!
Off to Markdale next weekend to face Grey Highlands C team, go Kincardine!!
