Exhibition game vs TCDMHA Rebel "C" team
Montgomery Ford Midget girls play a game on Saturday in Tiverton @ 3:00pm  vs T.C.D.M.H.A. Rebels “C” girls team in a exhibition game . They are in WOAA group “B” which means we this game match does not affect either team in the standings, however, good chance we will play them in Provncal playoffs . The day happened to be a 1st day of real snow and flurries, making the roads hazardess to drive on for both teams, and unfortunately the Head coach from TCDMHA and 2 players on the way to the game were in a 5 vehicle accident in Underwood, who also were taken by ambulance to hospital for medical assist, not so sure how severe injuries were

not life threating from what were heard, however the team being shook up without a coach and missing likely 2 key players had a effect on the game at hand for them. After getting organized without the coach and their goalie making it to Tiverton later, who was also involved at the crash somehow we were able the get the game going. Kincardine Girls were missing 4 players this game, all forwards and the Bantams were in Kitchener tournament un able to lend call ups for support, so both team at a disadvantage . The game started and opened up for TCDMHA early with a goal 5 minutes into the game, then followed by another 3 minutes later to take a 2 goal lead .  It seemed this game was almost meant not to be played as the arena lights went out with 3 minutes left in the 1st period , while both teams wiated on the ice for 10 minutes for repair made to lights. But this interuption did not affect the spirit of both teams, then when light resummed and finished the 1st period , Kincardine came out in the 2nd period with a much nicer passing game, and were able to score 3 goals, two of which were P/P goals and held the lead going into the 3rd period. After the flood and start of 3rd period , there were 3 more interuptions as the time clock kept shutting down and forced stoppage of play ,  then later deciding to finish the game with no clock and as the last minute of the game approached, TCDMHA pulled their goalie to try to tie Kincardine, came close couple of times, but couldnt make it happen, so with all being said and the distractions the teams encountered made it for a close and exciting game with a close 3-2 win for Kincardine team. We hope that the TCDMHA coach and players are ok from the accident .
