This past Saturday
the Kincardine Home Hardware Novice rep team started the playoff race with a
match against the Saugeen Shores Storm.
Both team came out hard, and looking for the
first goal of the game.
The Kinucks scored first when Quinton Page netted one with an assist by Dylan Chinnick. In the second period Kincardine scored again when Quinton Page passed the puck to Tyler Johns who put it on the tape of Dylan Chinicks stick for the one timer. Saugeen shores scored once to remind the Kinucks to keep going. Later in the second Quinton Page scored his second of the game with an assist to Graeden Colhoun. Early in the third Quinton Page scored again for the hat trick with assists going to Graeden Colhoun and Brandon Bishop. Dylan Chinnick managed to complete his Gordie Howe hat trick with a penalty in the third to go with his assist and goal. Kwade beisel played awesome in net to keep the score low with some excellent help from the defensive lines.
