Kinucks had 2 this weekend
This week the Boston Pizza atom AE team had two games.
On Thursday night the Kinucks played host to the Wingham Ironmen. Kincardine came out hard in the first with Tyler Johns putting one in the back of the net on a nice pass from Kole McCormick. In the second, Chase Anderson made no mistake in scoring on a nice play with assists from Graeden Colhoun and Brock Courtney. In the third period the schooners struck again when Dylan Chinnick popped in a one timer on a beauty pass from Tyler Johns. Wingham managed to sneak one in late in the third to make the final score 3-1. Thomas Harmsworth, Graeden Colhoun, Blake Edwards, and Spencer Humble held the defensive line very well, and Kwade Beisel stopped pretty much everything they could shoot at him..
On Sunday afternoon the Kinucks motored into Goderich to take on the Sailors. Kincardine opened the scoring early when Jesse Page broke out of the zone and deked out 2 defensmen before landing the puck in the back of the net, assists going to Spencer Humble and Myles Courtney. Goderich answered back in the second on a hard shot that squeaked by Kwade Beisel. Kincardine answered back in the second with Jesse page scoring his second of the night with the assist going to Brock Courtney. Kincardine played hard, but it wasnt enough to keep the Sailors from getting one more and ending the game in a 2-2 tie. A special mention to Bennett Janes, Dylan Chinnick and Blake Edwards for playing a hard game.
