Atom Girls continue their winning ways
The Kincardine Kinucks Canadian Tire Atom girls team continued their winning ways with two more wins this week.

First on Thursday the team hosted the Mount Forest Rams in a tightly contested game.  Rachel Rumbold assisted by Rachel Catelo and Miya Wall got the team on the board 90 seconds into the game.  The Mount Forest team continued to pressure throughout the entire game and goalie Bianca Holland came up with a huge save on a breakaway with 0.4 seconds left in the second period.  The two teams continued to battle in the third and the girls managed to keep them off the score board and take the game 1-0.

Next on Saturday the team travelled down highway 21 to face off against the Saugeen Shores Storm.  They waisted no time scoring early in the first with a goal from Rachel Rumbold assisted by Aurelie Bronkhorst.  The girls controlled most of the action in the Saugeen Shores end but great goaltending by the Saugeen Shores goalie kept it 1-0 after 1.  The second period opened quickly with another goal by Rachel Rumbold assisted by Hannah Brandon and then a third goal by Eden Anderson assisted by Addyson Richards.  The girls continued to battle hard for the puck and managed to walk away with a 3-0 win.
