The Day the Kinucks Wore Blue
The night did not start off well as the Kincardine Tim-br Mart Bantams stepped onto the ice wearing borrowed Walkerton Capital jerseys but the boys made the best of it.
Kincardine took advantage of an early Walkerton penalty and were the first to score. The boys were moving the puck well in the offensive zone when Dallas Hewitt passed to the point and Carter Strachan fired a shot at the net which allowed Sam Wilson to score on the rebound.
The rest of the game was a great battle with many chances missed by both teams. Even in the 3rd period when the Kincardine penalty box saw a lot of visitors, the boys were able to skate away with the 1-0 victory.
