PeeWee LL2 on a Roll!
On Saturday, November 7th, PeeWee LL2 played in Mount Forest and displayed their hard work.  The first and second periods didn’t result in any goals, but the team was abundant with shots on net!  John Graham played an excellent game with some awesome saves, and even though the other team managed to place one goal in, the goalie/defence team held strong in the defensive zone to deny any more opponent points.

In the third period, there was a big scramble at the net, with multiple amazing plays and consistent shots!  Finally, after all their efforts, Chris McLarty was able to pick up a rebound from Dakota Condie and score, tying the game at 1-1.

The strong effort continued into the middle of the week where the boys played in Walkerton on Wednesday, November 11th.  In the first period, Sam MacTavish took a long shot down centre ice, assisted by passes from Noah Page and Augustus Young and scored the first goal of the game only minutes into the period.  Shortly after that, Brock Courtney, assisted by Augustus and Dakota, shot on net and the puck was caught in the goalie’s glove then fumbled, and dropped behind into the net for the second goal of the game!  Augustus quickly moved in for another shot but lost control of the puck, only to be picked up by Chris for another goal (3-0).

First and second periods were played strongly in the attacking zone, with a great show by David Ulak who continued to keep the puck over centre line.  It was Tomas Nancekivell who scored the only goal in the second period, bringing the score to 4-0.

The third period displayed some strong passing, and the team was fantastic at playing their positions!  Tomas, assisted by Jake Wall and Isaiah Wencel, made his second goal of the night, and then it was Jake’s turn to score, assisted by Sam and Lucas Bronkhorst.  With only two minutes left in the game, Augustus came in with an impressive shot to the net, after picking up a pass from Noah McArthur, leaving the final score as a 7-1 win for Kincardine!

Let’s keep this ball rolling boys!
