Hawgs Breath Midget Girls travel to Chatsworth
On January 28, 2011, the Kincardine Hawgs Midget Rep Girls travelled to play TCDMHA in Chatsworth for a regular season game.
Kincardine's bench was short and players had to adapt to position changes. The first period saw Tara/Chatsworth score 3 unanswered goals. The Kincardine girls came out strong in the 2nd period scoring 3 times to Chatsworth's 1, making it a 4-3 game at the end of the period. The 3rd period action was extermely competitive resulting in both sides taking several penalty minutes. During that play Kincardine was awarded a penalty shot taken by Morgan Padfield which narrowly miss the opponent's net. The period ended with Tara/Chatsworth scoring one unanswered goal. The final score for the Hawgs Breath Midget Girls was 5-3 in favour of the TCDMHA. Scoring for Kincardine was Maddie McFadden, Morgan Padfield, and Sam Bianco with assists going to Cayly Bellan, Anna McFarlan, Jenna Rees and Sarah Leyden.
