First Game of the Year!

Kincardine played a hard battle against a fully-manned Normanby team. Meridian, short-handed, only had 4 substitutes. In the first period Kincardine dominated, but had some tough breaks ending the period 3-0.
Linemates Justin M, Sam C and Liam H, battled hard but were turned away by Normanby's goalie. Sam C had a break-away in the second period, but was once again denied. Julia M, Connor D and Georgia F were unstoppable on defence. Georgia also played well offensively with several shots on the Normanby net.
The Kincardine crew continued to dominate with several shots by both Brady M and Mark Y, but just couldn't beat the goalie. Brady M skated end to end and made several strong plays with Mark and Tyler D.
Despite great offensive play, and fantastic defending, Normanby had luck on their side. They scored again to end the game 7-0. The teams will meet again at a tournament on the weekend. The team is eagerly awaiting the return of Connor B, who will return this week!! Coach Dave named, Brady, Sam and Julia as the stars of the game! Congrats to all members for their stellar play!
