The next phase of our KMHA season
Submitted By KMHA on Saturday, November 7, 2020
Fellow Kinucks,
Today marks the start of the next phase of our KMHA season. I have no doubt many of you are learning as we go much the same as we are. The KMHA executive has been working very hard over the last few months to try to offer as much quality programming as we are able to given the current restrictions and guidelines and without these executive members none of this would have been possible. Plans have been made then had to be remade as directives and requirements from our governing bodies change, sometimes daily. As KMHA president I am extremely proud of the work they have put into this season taking time away from their families and their own personal commitments to do so. Working together as a group is what has made this and continues to make this all possible.
The end goal has always been to get as many kids back on the ice and keeping them active and in a safe and healthy atmosphere. Kincardine Minor Hockey has been a leader in our area in doing so and we do not take this responsibly lightly. Each team and each bubble will require a group effort to be successful as well as an understanding that we are all trying our best to move this forward. Please ensure that we are all lending a hand when and where required.
Let's all do or part to ensure we make the most out of this opportunity and follow the rules to allow us to get back to regular hockey as soon as possible.
Thank you and stay safe
Tom Desmond
