Tournament Director wanted
Kincardine Minor Hockey is looking for a Tournament Director.
The position will officially begin at the end of the 2022/2023 season, however we are hoping the upcoming Director would work with our tournament committee to get a feel for the position. KMHA currently holds 3 tournaments a year.
Below is a list of expectations for the position.
- Evaluate, review and recommend Tournaments to the Executive Committee
- Attend monthly meetings and give monthly updates (if required) to the Executive
- Book all tournaments through OMHA and OWHA
- Convene and chair tournament committee for all sanctioned tournaments
- Scheduling games and communicating with teams involved.
- Get sponsorship, banners, vendors for the tournaments
You will also be required to either be present at the tournaments or arrange for someone to be the tournament coordinator while you are absent.
