2025-26 Hockey Season Updates
There are many changes for the upcoming 25/26 hockey season. Please continue to monitor the KMHA website for updates.
Registration- OMHA Early Bird registration for U7 and local league programing will open the first week of May for players not participating in A Zone tryouts.
OWHA (girls’ program) will also open the first week of May. Keep a close eye on the website for details and the registration links.
Goalie registration- This upcoming season, KMHA will be offering our goalies a discounted registration. Full time goalies (U11-18) participating this year will only pay $100 to register. We hope this will help alleviate some of the financial hurdles to playing the position and potentially encourage more players to choose the position.
Player movement- The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has implemented changes to the residency policy. This change allows all OMHA players the opportunity to participate with the association of their choice regardless of its category (AAA,AA,BB,B ect.) More details can be found on the OHF website.
