We will meet at the Davidson Centre to carpool at 9:00am on the 4-Oct-08 and than proceed to Bulls Eye Paintball in Harriston

The package we offer teams, church groups and corporate groups is $40 for everything, mask, marker, air tank and 500 paintballs per person.

Additional paintballs are $50 for 2000 or $18 for 500 (the discount on the 2000 box is something only groups or members get). For every 10 paid admissions, there is one free admission, which includes all of the same things. We require a deposit of $400 for a private booking, which is definitely what you guys are going to want. You get your own ref for the day and they will be with your group the whole time to deal with anything that comes up and to help teach people how to play.

For what you will be doing, it is up to you. We can just get them out there and play some games that are specifically geared towards teams working together to win. The other thing that we can do is run some traditional drills to teach people the fundamentals. These drills range from stretches to specifics like communication on the field, cover firing drills and learning how to properly use a bunker. This is one of the things that makes us unique in outdoor paintball. I really believe that this needs to be done more, but as of right now, even though people will admit that paintball is great for team building, the fundamental skills are never developed properly. After we work on those things we go right into the paintball itself.

You will also find that our paintball is very non-traditional. Our games are not single elimination where a player who is hit has to leave. We play that if a player is hit, there is a "base" that they start from, usually a building or a pylon in the open that they return to. When the player reaches their starting point, they touch it and then re-enter play instantly. This way of playing is something that caused us to start our own field as no one else plays it. This is something that makes no sense to me. All players are always in the game when you play like this, which allows newer players the chance to stay in the game and play significantly more paintball through the day.

I am keen to see what we can do with your group. We have had corporate groups do this, but no hockey teams. I am hoping to build on this and get a lot of teams into this. Of all the sports I have ever played, communication in paintball means the most.
