The Kincardine Bantam Girls became the Regional Silver Stick Champions at the Saugeen Shores tournament, beating Ilderton in the finals 4-3.
In round robin play, to earn a spot in the championship game, the Kinucks recorded 2 wins and a loss. The girls lost to Stratford 2-0, beat Markdale 3-0 and were victorious over Walkerton 1-0. The girls will advance to play in the International Silver Stick tournament in Trenton in February 2009.
