Two Hat Tricks for Krulicki
The Kincardine West Shore Clothing Bantam girls added two more wins to their stats this past weekend, with Victoria Krulicki scoring a hat trick in both games.  Arran-Elderslie, a relatively inexperienced team, faced the Kinucks on November 7 and came up short against the sharp-shooting Kincardine girls.  Victoria Krulicki started the goal-fest in the first period with a  ringer off the post, assisted  by Kristy Parsons and Cassidy Colhoun.

The floodgates opened in the second period with four more Kincardine goals, followed by an additional three in the third, while Arran-Elderslie failed to get on the scoreboard.  The final score was 8-0 for the Kinucks, and point earners were: Krulicki (3 goals, 3 assists), Colhoun (2 goals, 4 assists), Jordan Murchie (2 goals, 2 assists), Parsons (2 assists),  Kristen Derksen (1 goal), and Dakota Smith and Courtney Surridge with one assist each.  Netminder Morgan Baker didn't see much action in this lopsided game, but stayed alert and thwarted several breakaways, earning her shutout.

The West Shore girls travelled to Goderich on Sunday November 8 to play the Sailorettes, winning 3-1.  With Mikhayla Bowes and Erica Gade still sidelined with broken arms, affiliates Vanessa Hodgins, Jessica Satosek and Danie Watterworth stepped up to support the team.  Krulicki continued to demonstrate her scoring abilities and was credited with all three Kincardine goals, scoring twice in the first period and adding one more in the third.  Derksen, Colhoun and Laura Mangotich (in spite of a hangnail) assisted.  Goalie Baker had a terrific game and allowed only one goal which occurred when the Kinucks were shorthanded and the Goderich player managed to lob one over her shoulder.

The Bantams are off to Stratford November 13-15 and hope to bring home another tournament championship.  Keep up the great work, girls!
