Hawgs Breath midget girls defeat the Thunder
Kincardine midget girls rep. team played their first provincial playdown game against Tiverton on February 4th at the Thunder Dome.
Hawgs Breath was the first to score making it 1-0 at the end of the first period. Sam Bianco tallied from an assist by Anna McFarlan.
Kincardine scored twice in the second period making it 3-0. Scoring first was Jenna Rees receiving a pass from Cayly Bellan. Kaitlyn McDonnell put one in the net with as assist from Emily Elphick.
In the third period with fourty-one seconds left on the clock Erika Tuck scored Tiverton's only goal.Then with 2.9 seconds remaining on the game clock, Morgan Padfield scored unassisted securing a 4-1 win over the Thunder.
