Busy Week for the Hawg's Breath Midget Girls
The Kincardine Kinuck Midget Girls had a busy week. On Thursday November 4th the girls travelled to Walkerton and suffered a 4 - 0 loss. After a short rest Kincardine hosted Wingham on Saturday November 6th with the evening ending in a 2 - 1 win for our hometown girls. The Wingham team was quite lively and was first on the scoreboard early in the second.
Kincardine opened the third with a goal by Jenna Rees assisted by Morgan Padfield and Anna McFarlan. Midway through the third Sarah Leyden scored assisted by Courtney Surridge and Madison McFadden to put Kincardine in the lead. Kincardine was able to maintain this positiion and recorded a win for the night. The third game of the week held on Sunday November 7th did not go so well. The Midget girls travelled to Lucknow to play their second exhibition game of the season against the Lucknow Intermediate girls and suffered an 8 - 1 loss with the lone goal going to McFarlan assisted by McFadden. The Midget girls gave it a good go, but in the end Lady Luck was nowhere to be found. The action continues on Friday November 19th when the Kinucks travel to Southampton to meet up with Saugeen Shores. The excitement starts at 9:00 PM sharp.
