Kincardine Presto Crest Peewee LL Rewarded After Playing 3 Complete Periods
Article submitted by Shea Fields.

On Sunday January 2nd, Kincardine's Presto Crest Peewee boys local league played BCH in Clinton.  Both teams started out equal other than their physical size.  The BCH home team was massive compared to our Kincardine boys.  As they say good things come in small packages, so the fans awaited a good game.

The first period was very fast with Kincardine's Austin Platt,  Cameron Cleminson and JD Gouthro playing an assertive game with accurate passing.  In Kincardine's net Alex Pande saw little action because of Alex Fisk's great defensive blocks.  The period saw no goals ending in a 0-0 tie.

The second period came with Ryan Burton and Josh Farrell charging BCH's end, while Brendan Arciszewski and Martin Catalan kept the large BCH offense from shooting on Alex's net, along with some awesome saves.  Unfortunately BCH did slip one late in the second between Kincardine's pipes, leaving the second period with a score of 1-0 for the home team.

In the third period Kincardine was not going to give up, with Brydon Nicolic getting a few shots on BCH's net with the help of Jacob Gordon.  Corbyn Fields and Hogan Allen made sure Kincardine's end was not attacked by BCH aggressors, with many shots diffused by the boys.  With the score still 1-0 for BCH, Kincardine's Owen Fohkens pursued a goal.  He attempted a few charges at BCH's net and finally sunk one unassisted , making the score 1-1.  The game ended tied 1-1, which showed great effort from all the Kincardine boys.  Good job boys.
