Sat Jan. 18 vs Woodstock in Tiverton
The Kincardine Pee Wee Girls Rep "B" team had a great game vs Woodstock.
The Kincardine Pee Wee Girls Rep "B" team had a great game vs Woodstock. Kincardine started off the first period with a penalty and the girls demonstrated some great penalty killing. Marcelle had an awesome game in net and came up with a few big saves. End of the first period 11 shots for Woodstock and 2 shots for Kincardine. Tie game at the end of the 1st period. We started the second period with a great attempt to score by Emma Twolan and Slade Miller. Woodstock peppered our goalie with shots, Marcelle kept the game tied with a knee pad save. End of second period with 11 shots for Woodstock and 2 for Tiverton. Score remained tied. Third period Kincardine skated hard and everyone worked hard both defensively and on the forward line. Abbey McCormick and Lauren Thede did a great job of moving the puck out of our end. Emma Dickson also had a great game as one of our AP players. In the end with 20 seconds left, Woodstock scored to win 1-0. This was a tough loss for our girls who played this game with a lot of heart.
